  1. Are members of the public required to make a payment to reserve a section of the Centennial Parklands for functions?
    1. If so, how much revenue has been obtained from these bookings?
    2. If so, how many sections of the park require a deposit?
    3. If so, what is the average cost of making a booking?
Answer -

I am advised as follows:

  1. Most areas operate on a first-in basis. Booking are required to exclusively reserve one of 10 sites in Centennial Park.
    1. $62,000 in 2013-14.
    2. There are 10 sites within Centennial Park which can be exclusively booked by groups and require a deposit.
    3. Public site hire fees are based on capacity of the site and range from $95 (for up to 30 people) to $460 (for up to 300 people).
