That this House:
(1) Recognises the impact the worsening situation in Gaza and failure by political leaders to acknowledge the suffering of Palestinians under the illegal Israeli occupation is having on the New South Wales Palestinian community.
(2) Acknowledges that as a consequence of the ongoing escalation, Islamophobia and anti-Semitism, neither of which have any place in our society, are on the rise.
(3) Commits to doing everything within its power to prevent the further escalation against Muslim ans Jewish community members in New South Wales.
