  3. How much money was allocated through the Total Asset Management (TAM) plan for fleet that was previously covered under the State Emergency Services State Headquarters Fleet Program in the 2017-18 budget?

Answer -

I am advised:

The Government committed funding of $46 million between 2012-13 and 2016-17 for the procurement, maintenance and control of the NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) operational vehicle fleet. Of this amount, $24.5 million was allocated to the purchase of vehicles over the five year period. Details of the capital allocation can be found in the NSW Treasury Infrastructure Statement Budget papers.

Funding for recurrent fleet expenses is fully built into the NSW SES 2017-18 operational budget. The NSW SES is currently working with Infrastructure NSW, NSW Treasury and the Department of Justice to finalise the next stage of the NSW SES operational fleet strategy.
