233. If the Council returns a Council bill with a message:
- Disagreeing to any amendments made by the Assembly; or
- Agreeing to amendments made by the Assembly with amendments.
The Assembly may by message:
As to (1):
- Insist or not insist on its amendments or
- Make further amendments to the bill consequent upon the disagreement of its
amendments or
- Order the bill to be laid aside
As to (2):
- Agree to the Council's amendments on its own amendments, with or without
amendment or
- Disagree to the Council amendments and insist on its own amendments which
the Council has amended or
- Order the bill to be laid aside.
On any further return of the bill from the Council with any of the requests of
the Assembly still disagreed to, the Assembly may order the bill to be laid
aside.
