Support flood affected communities in the Mid North Coast and Hunter regions.

To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly, The recent Mid North Coast Flood left thousands of homes uninhabitable and thousands more damaged. Mid North Coast primary producers have had their industries decimated with dairy, beef, turf farms, and oysters wiped out for not just months, but years, with many never to return. The recent announcement of $25,000 in emergency funding does not go far enough and will do little to help Mid North Coast businesses and primary producers get back on their feet. The undersigned petitioners ask the Legislative Assembly to call on the Government to maximise Category C funding and urgently declare Category D funding for devastated small businesses, primary producers and communities on the Mid-North Coast and Hunter regions.
