To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly,
We, the signatories of this petition, call on the NSW Government to fast track the upgrades to Goonoo Goonoo Road, to include safe crossings for pedestrians and dual lane duplication to ensure safety for school children, the elderly, residents, customers and road users.
The project was announced in 2021 with funding allocated. Residents and businesses of Tamworth are now calling on the extended planning period to be expedited and for works to start on the crucial project.
The undersigned petitioners, therefore, ask the Legislative Assembly to call on the Government to Fast Track the Goonoo Goonoo Road Upgrade Project.
