Point of Order (Mr Lang): (On the question for the adoption of the Report.) That clause 2 was out of order inasmuch as it was identical with the provisions of clause 3 of the Sydney Corporation Bill, which had already been dealt with during the present session and it therefore infringed on the provisions of Standing Order 187. Overruled by Mr Speaker 26/06/1934. LC REMARKS: Reported 26/06/1934. Standing Orders suspended with consent 26/06/1934. Point of Order raised under Standing Order No 113: Submitted that the Bill was the same in substance as clause in another Bill (Sydney Corporation (Amendment)) upon which Bill the question that it be now read a second reading had already been resolved in the affirmative. President ruled against Point of Order.
