Family Fun Day provides a range of fun, educational and interactive activities including craft, roving actors, musicians and role plays as well as the opportunity to sit in the historic chambers of the oldest Parliament in Australia. This day provides an opportunity for children and families to better understand the work of the Parliament.
In 2023 our Family Fun Week was held online in September.
During this week-long series, our youngest constituents had the opportunity to embark on virtual tours of our chambers, immerse themselves in storytime, help Henry Parkes find his documents and even had the chance to interact with people from the Parliament.
The Parliament of New South Wales acknowledges and respects the traditional lands of all Aboriginal people, and pays respects to all Elders past and present. We acknowledge the Gadigal people as the traditional custodians of the land on which the Parliament of New South Wales stands.
