Democracy is on the move in 2024 with Parliament of NSW hitting the road to celebrate the Bicentenary of the Legislative Council — Australia’s oldest legislative body, also known as the Parliament’s Upper House.

Our Regional Roadshow has already visited Lismore, Port Macquarie, Bathurst, Batemans Bay and Armidale. Next, we head to our final desination: Wagga Wagga

Community Workshops
Join us for a FREE one-hour community workshop. From how laws are made, to committee inquiries into issues affecting communities across the state, learn the surprising ins-and-outs of Parliament from the very people who keep the wheels turning at the Legislative Council. 

When: Thursday 1 August (sessions run from 9am)

Public Sector Seminar
Are you a public sector employee? Register for a FREE half-day professional development seminar on how NSW Parliament’s legislative, procedural and committee inquiry processes affects the work of the public sector. There will be a panel discussion with current members of the Upper House:
