Notes: The government moved to send extra police to Broken Hill during an industrial dispute in Broken Hill. Arthur Griffith moved to debate the matter in the Assembly but was prevented by the Speaker. Griffith accused the Speaker of unfairness and was suspended, after which Griffith resigned to force a by-election, at which he was re-elected unopposed. (Rydon Span and Nelson)
