Notes: Sitting MP J H Neale did not re-contest, having been elected for East Sydney on 13 February. Reports of the nominations are inconsistent, with alternative spellings Ardell and Ardill. It has been presumed this was perennial candidate John Roche Ardill. It is also presumed that James Byrnes is the former MP for Parramatta, who had been defeated contesting his old seat a fortnight earlier.
