Educated at University College, Liverpool, Licentiate of the Royal College of Practitioners, Licensed Midfwife Physical, Ireland; physician Southport, England; went to New Zealand in c.1902 and settled in Wellington, associated with child welfare movement inaugurated by Lady Plunkett; arrived in Sydney in 1911, resided in Balmain, ran a children's clinic for eight years, then mainly as a consultant; president of Poultry and Pigeon Club; Freemason.
