Notes: Despite Labor deciding to contest every seat, a candidate was not nominated against the pro-Labor progressive O'Sullivan. (Rydon, Spann and Nelson, 1907 chronicle) At the close of nominations, the SMH listed O'Sullican along with WW Young in Bathurst as one of only two former Progressives to be opposed by the Liberals. He was not included in the Liberal list of other candidate generally supportive of government policy, Daily Telegraph 10 September.
