Notes: Ryrie appeared as a selected Free Trade candidate SMH 22 July, p.7 col.1 and was listed as a selected Ministerial candidate in the SMH results, 28 July, p.7 col.7, but he was not included in George Reid's letter, SMH 27 July, p.2 col.7. The Telegraph listed him as an Opposition candidate, 27 July. He is listed here as an Independent Free Trade candidate. McDonnell was also listed by the DT as an Opposition candidate, but he is shown as an Independent in line with the SMH.
