Notes: Hutchison and Wright were both sitting MPs for Glen Innes, and both were included as selected Protectionists in the SMH and Australian Star. Souter appeared as an official Labor candidate in all sources, but had not been listed in the Worker by 7 July. He may have been listed in one of the missing issues. Cameron does not appears in any selected list of candidates, is shown as a Protectionist in the SMH and Town and Country Journal and as a Protectionist Labor candidate in the Telegraph and Star. He has been listed here as an Independent Protectionist.
