Corrections: Hughes and Graham (1975) used totals published SMH 22 June 1891, p.5 col.8. SMH always listed Passmore as an Opposition candidate, but every other source of the time lists him as Free Trade. Richardson was often listed as an Free Trader, but is shown as an Independent in line with the Daily Telegraph election summary, 4 July 1891, p.9 col.1.
