Notes: Clover Moore was a former South Sydney and later Sydney City Councillor. Like Frank Sartor, who contested neighbouring McKell, she had been serving on the Council and considering a run for the Lord Mayors position when the council was sacked in 1987. Like Sartor, she was also to serve as Lord Mayor, elected to the position after the re-combination of Sydney and South Sydney councils in 2004.
