Notes: Meagher was another who departed the Labor Party after the conscription split. The Daily Telegraph (5 March) listed this seat as one the Nationalists had chosen not to nominate for, leaving Labor and Independent Labor candidates to contest. The SMH (24 March) listed Meagher as an Independent Labor candidate for whom Nationalist supporters should vote.
