Results from Gundagai Times, 16 January, p.2 col.5, had Baker on 370, Copeland 272, but mentioned that two small booths had not been received. No further reports were found. However, totals published at LAVP 1876-77, Vol.A1, pp869-71, lists 655 votes being recorded in this district and the winning candidate polling 381. These totals have been used to augment the Gundagai Times result.
