Step into The Lamp of Scrutiny, a powerful exhibition marking 50 years of the NSW Ombudsman’s unwavering pursuit of fairness, accountability and reform. From landmark investigations to quiet but crucial oversight, the NSW Ombudsman has helped transform public services and strengthen the rights of the people of New South Wales.
Explore key themes of impact since 1975 — milestones in open government, human rights, integrity, and systemic change. Through pivotal moments and stories, the exhibition invites you to reflect on how the Ombudsman’s work continues to shape a fairer, more just NSW.
The Lamp of Scrutiny is being hosted at NSW Parliament by Mr Philip Donato, Member for Orange.
