(1) Are the applications for the Cattle Underpass Program Round 2 (hereafter, the program) still open? 

(2) How many applications have been received as of 14th August 202 for the program3?

(3) How much of the $2 million allocated in the program's fund has been spent as of 14th August 2023?

(6) What advertising has the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) undertaken promoting this program?

(a) 10 have been conditionally approved, pending the receipt of outstanding documentation of application.

(6) In January 2023 the Department launched Round 2 of the Cattle Underpass Program, which included a media release.

The Program has been promoted on the social media channels.

The Program was also promoted in an industry newsletter, on industry social media and in an email to regional dairy farmer groups.

(10) The Minister engages with NSW Farmers on a regular basis on several matters including the movement of livestock.

(11) The NSW Government is currently reviewing all expenditure ahead of the budget to be handed down on 19 September 2023.

(12) DPI does not directly assist farmers with the application process. This support is provided by Transport of NSW via the CUPS Coordinator.
