REGIONAL ROADS AND TRANSPORT RECOVERY PACKAGE - EXPANSION

(1) Can the Minister advise whether the Government supports expanding the Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package to all regional New South Wales councils?
Answer -

I am advised

The Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package is the first betterment programs in NSW supporting the planning, development and delivery of resilient infrastructure in priority areas affected by the severe weather and flooding in early 2022.

The Australian and NSW Governments committed $312.5 million towards this program under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

Outcomes of the Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package will inform future resilience priorities.
