(2) With reference to (1), can the Minister advise the start date on each of these projects?

(3) With reference to (1), can the Minister advise the expected completion date on each of these projects?

Answer -

I am advised

(1) Transport for NSW is working with councils and the NSW Reconstruction Authority to ensure the Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package projects meet Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements requirements.

Transport for NSW representatives and technical assessors are supporting councils to source evidence required to demonstrate Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements compliance.

(2) Under the rules established by the former Liberal-National government, projects must commence construction 12 months prior to final expenditure date. The final expenditure date is two years from the signing of the funding deed.

(3) Under the rules established by the former Liberal-National government, projects must have all physical works and expenditure completed two years from signing of the funding deed.
