Answer -

I am advised

Wallerawang Train Station was closed in 1989 by the former Liberal-National government under the Premier Greiner.

It took the former Liberal-National government 11 years and 7 months, to announce that it would reopen the Wallerawang Train Station. Despite this commitment, reopening the station did not occur.

Transport for NSW is currently assessing the scope and cost of works needed for train services to use Wallerawang station.
