The NSW Government has commissioned an independent review, supported by Infrastructure NSW, of the capital program to ensure maximum benefits to the state and the need to balance fiscal, service delivery and market capacity pressures.

The Australian Government has also initiated a 90-day review of the Infrastructure Investment Program to assess cost and deliverability pressures in the current climate. The outcomes of these reviews will help to develop a sustainable investment pipeline of transport projects that will be confirmed through the upcoming State Budget.
