Answer -

I am advised

The NSW Government made an election commitment to introduce a 50 per cent local content target for future rolling stock contracts by the end of the first term.

Sydney Trains and Transport for NSW are currently collaborating on planning for future passenger fleet. This planning includes local industry and stakeholder engagement to inform a business case for Government consideration.
