SOUTH COAST LINE BUSINESS CASE

(1) On 3 March 2023, NSW Labor committed to a $1.5 million review of the South Coast line and $8.5 million for a business case, including a look at the South West Illawarra Rail Link, can the Minister please advise:

(a) When do you anticipate the business case will be completed?

(b) What is the forecast capital expenditure for the business case in the 2023/2024 financial year?

(c) According to the Infrastructure NSW (INSW) investor assurance framework, will this business case be a strategic or final business case?

This project is in the initial planning phase. In accordance with the INSW assurance framework, this project will include the delivery of a Strategic Business Case.
