METRIC FOR NSW TRAINLINK PUNCTUALITY

(1) As the representing Minister for Regional Transport and Roads/as the Minister for Roads, what is a successful metric for NSW TrainLink punctuality performance reports?

The current successful metrics (set by the former Liberal-National government) are outlined below.

NSW TrainLink operates to a punctuality target of 78% for regional (diesel) train services, measured within 10 minutes of scheduled arrival time.

NSW TrainLink operates to a punctuality target of 92% for all intercity (electric & diesel) train services, measured within 6 minutes of scheduled arrival time. All intercity services operate under the OPAL card system.

NSW TrainLink operates to a punctuality target of 90% for regional coach services, measured within 10 minutes of scheduled arrival time.
