That standing and sessional orders be suspended on Thursday 9 May 2024 to permit, when General Business Notices of Motions for Bills are called on, the maximum time limit of 20 minutes to not apply and the following items of business take place in the following order:

(1)  The Member for Murray to complete her second reading speech for the ICAC and other Independent Commissions Legislation Amendment (Independent Funding) Bill

(2)  The Member for Barwon to introduce and complete his second reading speech for the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Amendment (Renewable Energy Sector Plan) Bill

(3)  The Member for Wahroonga to introduce and complete his second reading speech for the Bail Amendment (Serious Personal Violence and Electronic Monitoring) Bill.​​
