Join the specialists who researched, selected and interpreted the objects featured in the exhibition for a series of free 30‑minute Spotlight Talks. Each session explores selected objects, records and themes from Parliament ‘s Collections and Archives and includes an opportunity for questions.

📅Friday 17 July, 10.00am - Food and Fellowship: Dining at Parliament.
Explore a selection of objects and records connected to dining at Parliament, including menus and tableware, and learn about the role shared meals have played in the day‑to‑day life of Members of Parliament.
Talk conducted by members of the Parliament of NSW Archives and Collections teams.

📅Tuesday 21 July, 12.00pm - Recovered Remnants: Objects found beneath Parliament House.
This talk highlights a small selection of items discovered beneath the Legislative Council Chamber floor and outlines what they reveal about the building’s early history, including its origins as part of the ‘Rum Hospital’.

Talk conducted by Dr Fiona Starr, Curator and Historian.

The exhibition complements rich digital content accessed through the Parlimento website, an evolving public resource that makes selected collection and archival material publicly available online.​
