To the President and Members of the Legislative Council, the petitioners state that many Australians consider brumbies to be part of the nation's cultural and historical identity and are concerned about the scale, transparency, and humaneness of current culling practices in Kosciuszko National Park. The petitioners request that the Government immediately suspend the aerial culling of brumbies in Kosciuszko National Park and establish humane, transparent, and community-based management alternatives to current culling operations.
