Relevant recommendations of the Broderick Report

Introduction

This inquiry was referred to the Committee by a resolution of the House on 23 August 2023 (amended on 24 August 2023). Under the terms of reference, the Committee will inquire into the four recommendations of the Broderick Report that refer directly to the Committee.

Terms of reference
  1. That the Standing Committee on Parliamentary Privilege and Ethics inquire into and report on the four recommendations that directly refer to the Committee in the Elizabeth Broderick & Co 2022 report entitled Leading for Change: Independent Review of Bullying, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct in NSW Parliamentary Workplaces 2022.  
  2. In undertaking the inquiry, in accordance with Standing Order 311, the Committee shall have leave to confer with the Legislative Council's Committee on Privileges.
