Inquiry into Environmental Impact Reporting in the NSW Public Sector

Introduction

This inquiry was established on 26 September 2007, to report on environmental impact reporting in the NSW public sector.
Terms of reference
Resolution passed 26 September 2007 The Public Bodies Review Committee is to inquire into and report on Environmental Impact Reporting in the NSW Public Sector with regards to: a) The efficiency and effectiveness of current practices b) The adequacy of the policy and legislative framework c) Important principles in environmental reporting d) The appropriateness of and potential for improvements in the quality of environmental performance indicators e) Frequency and methods of reporting f) Achieving maximum efficiencies in the reporting process g) Significant developments in other jurisdictions
