2nd National Conference of Parliamentary Oversight Committees of Anti-Corruption/Crime Bodies 22-23 February 2006

The Committee on the ICAC hosted the 2nd National Conference of Parliamentary Oversight Committees of Anti-Corruption/Crime Bodies at Parliament House, Sydney, on 22-23 February 2006. The conference included speakers representing many facets of corruption prevention activity in Australia. The work of the relevant Parliamentary Oversight Committees, their Agencies, Parliamentary Inspectors and Commissioners, as well as leading Academics in the field were be profiled at the Conference. The topic of whistleblowing and whistleblowing legislation was a particular feature of the conference.
