2006 NSW Premier's Annual Reports Awards

In 2006 the Public Bodies Review Committee, in conjunction with the Public Accounts Committee, hosted the inaugaral Premier's Annual Reports Awards, which aims to recognise and reward excellence in Public Sector annual reporting. Following an extensive judging process, the 2006 Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners were announced at a press conference on Wednesday 10 May 2006. Mr Matthew Morris, Chair (Public Bodies Review Committee) and Noreen Hay, Chair (Public Accounts Committee) are pleased to recognise the achievements of the following NSW Government agencies and staff: Gold: NSW Health Silver: NSW Fire Brigades Bronze: Audit Office of NSW These agencies will be further recognised at the Premier's Public Sector Awards ceremony in November 2006. An annual reporting workshop will be held for all interested NSW Public Sector agencies on Wednesday 14 June 2006. Nominations for the 2007 Awards process will open in September 2006.
