An Act to amend the Local Government Act 1993 to ensure that the attitude of residents and ratepayers of a local government area to any proposal to make a substantial alteration to any boundary of the area, or to amalgamate the area with any other area, is ascertained before any recommendation to proceed with the proposal is made; and for related purposes.
