Traffic Legislation Amendment Bill 1997

An Act to amend the Traffic Act 1909 to make some of the terminology of the Act consistent with the Road Transport Reform (Heavy Vehicles Registration) Act 1997 of the Commonwealth and to enable the Minister by declaration to include or exclude certain areas from the operation of the Traffic Act 1909 and regulations under the Act; to make consequential amendments to the Motor Accidents Act 1988 and various other Acts and various Regulations; and for other purposes.
