Qualifications, occupations and interests
Journalist. Partner with George H.Cohen in the newspaper 'Mudgee Independent' at Mudgee, which was sold in 1889. Purchased the 'Sporting Life and Licensed Victuallers Gazette', which was seized by the printers Cook and Co. in 1889. Bankrupt in 1890. Returned to Mudgee as a partner in a printing business. On leaving the Legislative Assembly purchased the 'Western Express' at Rylstone, selling out in 1922.
