Biography

Political party activity

Joined the NSW Division of the Liberal Party of Australia in 2006. Urban Vice-President from 2019 to 2022 under the leadership of Party President Hon Philip Ruddock AO. Member of the NSW State Executive 2015 to 2022. State Council Delegate since 2008. Local Government Oversight Committee 2016 to 2019. Campaign Manager for the Miranda electorate in 2015. President of Throsby Young Liberals 2007 to 2018. NSW Young Liberal Executive 2011-12. Federal Young Liberal Executive 2012. Life Member of the NSW Young Liberals.

Community activity

Board Member of Commonwealth Day Council. Board Member of Australia Youth Trust. Parishioner at Christ Church St Laurence, Sydney. 

Qualifications, occupations and interests

Bachelor of Economics (BEc), University of Sydney. Master of Management (MMgt), University of Sydney.
2015 to 2022 Government Relations Manager, Insurance Australia Group (IAG).  
Mr Rath has a chapter published in a book relating to Australian political thought- The Forgotten People: Updated, Liberal Essays on Modern Australia, edited by Paul Ritchie 2018.   
Interests include- marathon running, sailing, skiing, opera, history, free-market economics, and of course politics.
