Australian Labor Party (ALP). Member of Lismore Branch for 13 years. President, secretary at all voluntary level. State and Country Conference Delegate to New South Wales Australian Labor Party conference.

Community activity

Member of Far North Coast Domestic Violence Liason Committee, Northern Rivers Regional Economic Development Organsiation and Amnesty International.

Qualifications, occupations and interests

Lawyer (solicitor) and Schoolteacher. Educated at Northern Rivers College of Advanced Education, Lismore. (Dip. Teach.), Macquarie University (B. Leg,S). Admitted to practice in New South Wales. Interests include the development of Australia's links with our Asia-pacific neighbours. Recreational interests include reading, walking, swimming and movies.
