Answer -
ALBURY WODONGA HOSPITAL

(1) (a) – (d)

In 2019, the Government announced $45 million to redevelop identified components of the Albury Base Hospital, with work to commence on the redevelopment in this term of Government. The Government also announced $30 million as part of the 2017-18 NSW Budget for the Albury Base Hospital Emergency Department Expansion.

$30 million was invested as part of 2017-18 NSW State Budget for the Albury Base Hospital Emergency Department Expansion.

The redevelopment is being delivered by the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA). The VHBA has experienced delays in receiving the Development Permit from Albury City Council.

NSW Health has fulfilled its funding commitment with the final $10 million milestone payment being processed in 2021-22.

The development of clinical services at both the Albury and Wodonga Hospital campuses is the role of the Albury Wodonga Health Executive and Board.
