S.O.251 Disorder - Member named - procedure after naming


251. If the Member has been named:
      1. the Speaker shall forthwith propose the question "That the Member for ... be suspended from the service of the House".
      2. There shall be no amendment, adjournment or debate allowed on this motion. However, the Member named may make an explanation limited to 5 minutes.

The Parliament of New South Wales acknowledges and respects the traditional lands of all Aboriginal people, and pays respects to all Elders past and present. We acknowledge the Gadigal people as the traditional custodians of the land on which the Parliament of New South Wales stands.
