EXTRACT FROM VOTES AND PROCEEDINGS OF THE NEW SOUTH WALES LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY, TUESDAY 17 MARCH 2026, ITEM NO. 20, PP. 1760-1761
That, having regard to the new regulation being made pursuant to s. 14A of the Constitution Act 1902, the Standing Committee on Parliamentary Privilege and Ethics inquire into and report on:
1. A scheme to be established by way of House resolution, for the disclosure of the following matters:
a. each Member's conflicts of interest; and
b. those interests of which each Member is aware, of their spouse or partner, and any children who are wholly or mainly dependent on them for support.
2. The nature and scope of the registrable interests of immediate family members to be disclosed, where known to the Member.
3. Requirements for the operation and administration of the new scheme.
4. Any related matters.
