Unsolved murders and long-term missing persons cases in New South Wales between 1965 and 2010

This inquiry was established on 15 October 2025 to inquire into and report on unsolved murders and long-term missing persons cases in New South Wales between 1965 and 2010.

The closing date for submissions has been extended to 29 May 2026.

The hearings previously set for 12 and 21 May have been postponed. New dates for hearings in Sydney will be confirmed in due course.

  • National Violence and Abuse Trauma Counselling and Recovery Service for anyone in Australia who has been impacted by sexual, domestic or family violence. This includes families, friends and supporters of anyone impacted by sexual, domestic or family violence
  • NSW Sexual Violence Helpline (formerly NSW Rape Crisis): 1800 424 017, 24/7, free and confidential support. NSW Sexual Violence Helpline is for anyone in NSW who has been impacted by sexual violence, recently or in the past. Loved ones of victims impacted by sexual violence, recently or in the past. Others who have been impacted by this violence, including professionals or first responders.
