1980s - stencilling in the Legislative Assembly Chamber - part of the painstaking restoration of the 1890s decorative scheme.

1974 - interior of the Legislative Assembly Chamber. The walls had been painted in white to maximise the effectiveness of the new neon lighting. In the rebuilding and restoration soon to follow, the 1908 decorative scheme would be restored.

1920s - "Legislating amongst the tall timbers". The roof of the Legislative Council Chamber had to be propped up before major repairs were undertaken in the 1930s and one side of the old iron building replaced in brick.

1843 - The Legislative Council sits in its newly built chamber at NSW Parliament House. From 1856, this chamber was used by the Legislative Assembly.
