This Guide to Information on Former Members of the Parliament of NSW has been a Project for the Sesquicentenary of Responsible Government in NSW (1856 - 2006). There have been over two thousand Members of the Parliament since the first Legislative Council was constituted in 1824. All former Members have been listed along with their Parliamentary service history; further information is being added daily. If you see any information here that is incorrect or incomplete, we would be very grateful if you would contact us so that we may change it.
