Hansard is an indispensable resource for those who need an accurate and independent report of the parliamentary debates.

The achievement of reporting and editing of the order of 18,000 words of debate each hour when both Houses of Parliament sit is possible only because of the dedication and skills of the Department of Parliamentary Reporting Staff [Hansard].

Hansard's mission is to maintain its tradition of  providing Members and the Parliament with  impartial, accurate and timely reports of parliamentary proceedings, parliamentary committees, and ministerial conferences.
