Long Title

An Act to amend the Drug Court Act 1998, the Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999 and the Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Act 1999 to provide for the compulsory treatment and rehabilitation of recidivist drug offenders; and for related purposes.

Explanatory Notes

This explanatory note relates to this Bill as introduced into Parliament. Overview of Bill The object of this Bill is to amend certain Acts of Parliament to establish a scheme to provide for the compulsory treatment and rehabilitation of recidivist drug dependent offenders.
