Biography

Political Party Activity - Secretary to local branches and State electorate councils, delegate to State and National ALP conferences.

Community Activity - Previously been on management committees of childcare centres, neighbourhood centres and youth services. Foster carer for young women aged 15 to 17 years (1995-1998).

Local Government Activity - Currently a councillor on Marrickville Council.

Personal - Born 1970 in Canberra. Has partner and two children.

Qualifications, Occupations and Interests - Previous occupations include shop assistant, waiter, music teacher, president of local and national student organisations, consultant to public transport industry, marketing assistant, program development officer and policy advisor. Policy interests include skills and industry development, education, affordable housing, improving democracy through technology, human rights and law reform. Personal interests include crime fiction, cooking, fishing and sudoku.
