Accountant. Educated at Marist Brothers' College; public accountant, established the firm of A.J Williams and Company; remained active in the company until 1966; fellow of Federal Institute of Accountants and the Institute of Industrial Administration; auditor for several trade unions.


Son of Thomas Williams, hotel broker, and Mary Ella Hyde. Married (1) Annie Clydesdale Geal on 7 July 1910 and had issue, 3 daughters and 3 sons. Married (2) Annie Kingston on 9 February 1926. Roman Catholic. Funeral at Waverley cemetery from St Thomas' Roman Catholic church, Springwood.
